- She has received several local San Diego awards such as twice winning the Mission Hills Garden Club’s Green Thumb award (2003 and 2005), and becoming a finalist in San Diego County’s California Friendly Landscape Contest 2008.
- Her gardens have twice been featured in the Mission Hills’ honored Garden Tour.
